About Our Academy
The Skegby Junior Academy was opened on 1 September 2013 and is sponsored by the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) which currently has 37 open academies educating over 18,000 pupils across seven local authority areas including Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire, Leicester City, West Northamptonshire, North Northamptonshire, Peterborough, and Lincolnshire. At the Skegby Junior Academy, we provide a high-quality education for all our pupils, enhanced by a caring and positive atmosphere and underpinned by our SMART Values. We know that pupils learn more effectively if they feel valued, happy and secure.
